It can be used in conjunction with Purilon gel for the autolytic debridement of necrotic tissue. It can be used on patients being treated for a local or systemic infection, at the healthcare provider's discretion. It is suitable for use in combination with compression therapy.\u003cbr\u003e The product is composed of:\u003cbr\u003e -a top film that promotes breathability, but is impermeable to water and bacteria;\u003cbr\u003e - an absorbent pad made of polyurethane foam;  \u003cbr\u003e-a perforated silicone sticker;\u003cbr\u003e -turquoise colored protective layer.\u003cbr\u003e Sterilized by ethylene oxide.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eLatex\u003c\/b\u003e free.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eHow to use\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Preparation:\u003cbr\u003e Cleanse the wound and surrounding skin according to local guidelines, such as with warm water or saline. Gently dry the surrounding skin. If using barrier films, creams, ointments, or similar products, allow the surrounding skin to dry before applying the product.\u003cbr\u003e Application:\u003cbr\u003e Choose a product whose foam pad extends approximately 1-2 cm beyond the wound edge. Use the protective flaps to avoid touching the adhesive side, ensuring aseptic application. Remove the central protective part. Apply the adhesive side facing the wound. Remove the remaining protective flaps, one at a time. Gently run your fingers along the edge of the product to ensure it adheres evenly and evenly to the skin.\u003cbr\u003e Removal:  \u003cbr\u003eThe product should be replaced when clinically indicated, when visible traces of exudate approach the edge of the foam pad, or after 7 days.
