Description
Powdered infant formula.
The product is indicated for infants from birth when breast milk is lacking or insufficient. Mellin AD is a lactose-free infant formula.

How to use
Before preparing the product, make sure the area you are working in is clean. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. Wash and rinse the bottle, nipple, and ring thoroughly. Sterilize the bottle, nipple, and ring. If you don't have a sterilizer, boil them in water. Keep the pot and sterilized items covered until ready to use. Be careful when handling hot items. Boil the amount of drinking water needed to reconstitute the product in a clean container and let it cool to 70°C. Pour the warm water into the sterilized bottle following the directions. Add level scoops of powder using the measuring cup provided. Close the bottle and shake to dissolve the powder. It is recommended to prepare the bottle only at feeding time. Once the product is ready, test the temperature on your wrist and administer to the infant. Consume within half an hour of preparation. Do not reuse any leftover prepared product, and do not heat or boil the reconstituted milk. Close the container tightly immediately after use.

The reconstitution of MELLIN AD is 13.1% and is obtained by adding a level scoop of powder (approximately 4.4 g) to every 30 ml of water.

Warnings
Breast milk is the ideal food for infants and is recommended as the exclusive food until the sixth month and as a milk component of a balanced diet during weaning and beyond the first year of life. If breast milk is lacking or insufficient, infant formula should be used only with the advice of a pediatrician.

Not suitable for infants with galactosemia.
