Description
Food for special medical purposes indicated for the dietary management of infants with regurgitation. Mellin AR 1 is obtained through an exclusive process and is integrated with carob seed flour, which promotes the viscosity of the product.

How to use
Mellin AR 1 is reconstituted at 13.6% and is obtained by adding a level scoop of powder (about 4.6 g) to every 30 ml of water. Before preparing, wash your hands and sterilize the bottle, teat and ring. Boil the required amount of water and pour it into the bottle when it is lukewarm. To obtain a well-leveled scoop, after filling it, remove the excess powder using a well-washed kitchen knife. Add the level scoops of powder following the instructions in the Average Feeding Table. Close the bottle and shake it to dissolve the powder. Wait about 5 minutes for the product to thicken. Before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on the wrist.

The table is indicative, the dosage can be modified according to the opinion of the pediatrician, based on the needs of the infant.

Warnings
Follow the instructions carefully: inadequate preparation and storage methods could pose a risk to the infant's health. The product must be used under the supervision of a pediatrician. The product is indicated for infants from birth to the sixth month and can be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product must not be used parenterally. Not suitable for premature infants. Important: breast milk is the ideal food for infants and should be encouraged and used as long as possible. It is recommended to prepare the milk only at mealtime and consume it within half an hour. Do not heat or boil the milk once prepared. Do not reuse any leftover prepared product.

Conservation
Once opened, the package must be closed properly and stored in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator). The product must be consumed within one month of opening.
Validity with intact packaging: 18 months.
