Dry the surrounding area thoroughly. Remove the protective films and apply the adhesive side to the wound. Do not pull the dressing during application. For best results, Mepilex Lite should cover at least 2 cm of healthy skin around the wound perimeter. Trim the product if necessary. If necessary, secure Mepilex Lite with a bandage or other means.\u003cbr\u003e Mepilex Lite can be left in place for up to 7 days, depending on the condition of the wound and surrounding area and as directed by your healthcare professional. A change in wound care often results in increased exudate levels.
