MILCO Ciock
Dietary food intended for special medical purposes. A protein-free drink (protein content less than 0.2 g/100 ml) made from milk ingredients, ready-to-use and chocolate flavored. Designed to replace cow's milk when a significant reduction in dietary protein intake is required, such as in the diet of individuals with chronic renal failure. Due to its composition, it can also be useful in the dietary treatment of inborn errors of metabolism, when a significant reduction in protein intake from common foods is required. MILCO ciock, for example, contains virtually no phenylalanine (max 8 mg/100 g, equivalent to tyrosine), and can be used, upon medical advice, in diets intended to treat phenylketonuria. It also contains the essential fatty acids linoleic and α-linolenic in a ratio of 13:1 and in quantities corresponding to 8% of total kcal.Contains lactose.
Ingredients
Demineralized water; lactose; maltodextrin; milk cream; vegetable oils (palm/rapeseed); whey; cocoa powder; cocoa flavoring; emulsifier: E472c, sodium chloride; thickeners: E331, E332; antioxidants: E304, E307; acidifiers: E333, E340.
How to use
The daily dose should be recommended by your doctor, taking into account the patient's age and condition. Shake well before use and follow the same instructions as for cow's milk.
Warnings
Compared to cow's milk, this product is low in calcium. Use under medical supervision. Milco Ciock should not be used as a sole source of nutrition. Do not use intravenously. Keep out of reach of children under three years of age.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dark place. Once opened, the bottle should be refrigerated and consumed within three days.
