NALKEVIT® MOM
Description
NALKEVIT® MAMMA tablets are a vitamin and mineral-based dietary supplement, indicated in cases of reduced dietary intake or increased need for these elements. Folic acid contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy and supports normal hematopoiesis. Folic acid, iron, magnesium, niacin, vitamins B2, B6, B12, and C contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin. Copper contributes to the normal transport of iron in the body. Vitamin C increases iron absorption. Folic acid, iron, zinc, and vitamins B12 and D participate in the process of cell division. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/use of calcium and phosphorus. Calcium participates in the process of cell division and specialization. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the fetus. The target population is women of childbearing age, and the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily folic acid supplement of 400 mcg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.
How to use
1 tablet per day, accompanied by water.
