Description
Blood pregnancy test.
The test can detect a very low level (sensitivity of 10 mIU/mL) of hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), a hormone produced by the body from the beginning of pregnancy. It is recommended to perform the test in the days before the expected date of your next period to ensure maximum reliability. If the test is performed too early, the hCG hormone concentration may be too low and go undetected, resulting in a negative result.
NG Precision+ is an immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of hCG in human capillary blood collected from the fingertip with a sensitivity of 10 mIU/mL. The test performance (95% confidence interval) is 100% (84.54% - 100%) for sensitivity and 100% (92.86% - 100%) for specificity.
This quick and easy-to-use test can be done anywhere, anytime.
The test is performed by placing a drop of blood taken from the fingertip into the test well through the capillary tube.
A solution is then dispensed to facilitate the migration of the blood sample.
The test includes antibodies that detect hCG and, if positive, generate a colored line in the "T" area of the test.
The reactive components are a monoclonal antibody against alpha-hCG and a monoclonal antibody against beta-hCG conjugated to a visual marker (colloidal gold).
How to use
Collection of the champion
- Wash your hands with warm water and soap. Then dry thoroughly.
- Hot water has the effect of improving blood circulation in the fingertips.
- Bring your arms to your sides for a minute to increase blood flow.
- If a drop of blood does not form immediately, press your finger behind the puncture site until a drop of blood forms.
1 PREPARATION
Massage your finger (middle or ring finger) for a few seconds, clean it with the alcohol pad, and let it air dry. Twist and remove the green tab, then discard it. Press the gray button to prick your finger.
2 COLLECTION
Place the test in the space indicated on the instruction sheet. Press your finger firmly behind the puncture site to obtain the blood sample. Fill the capillary tube completely with blood.
3 RESULT
Place the test on the table and leave it there. Then invert the blood tube into the well.
Wait 5 minutes.
Warnings
- The test is for single use only. Do not reuse.
- Do not use the test if the package is damaged or broken.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Once opened, use the test immediately.
- Nothing should come into contact with the reading window (result area).
- NG Precision+ is intended for use with blood samples only.
- The blood must be transferred to the test strip immediately.
- While awaiting the result, the test should be placed on a flat surface. Never point the test upward.
Conservation
Store the test in its packaging between 4°C and 30°C. The test is stable until the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
Do not freeze.
