Nutritionally complete powdered food for special medical purposes, capable of meeting the nutritional needs of children from 0 to 36 months of age in case of allergy to cow's milk proteins.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO contains hydrolyzed protein (casein hydrolysate) for improved digestibility and tolerability. NOVALAC Allernova PRO contains a unique, patented blend of thickeners that combines the properties of starch and dietary fiber.

How to use
Always wash your hands before preparing the bottle.
Clean and sterilize the bottle, nipple, and all materials used. Bring water to a boil for 5 minutes and let it cool to 40°C, or heat mineral water (from a recently opened bottle) to 40°C. Pour the required amount of water into the bottle. Add the correct amount of Novalac powder using the included measuring spoon. Level each measuring spoon with a clean, dry knife without pressing down on the powder. Close the bottle with the hard plastic cap and shake until the powder is completely dissolved, avoiding lumps. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized nipple to the bottle. Let it cool to 37°C. Check the bottle temperature by placing a drop of the product on your wrist. Use immediately.

Reconstitution (13.5%): 1 level, unpressed scoop (4.5 g) per 30 ml of water. Use only the scoop provided with the product. The number of feedings should be adjusted to the infant's appetite, as advised by a healthcare professional.

Breast milk is the best food for infants. If breast milk is not available or is insufficient, infant formula may be used only with the advice of a doctor.

NOVALAC Allernova PRO can be used as the sole source of nutrition for up to six months of age if breastfeeding is not possible. After the sixth month, upon medical advice, NOVALAC Allernova PRO should be incorporated into a varied diet. However, it is essential to carefully follow your doctor's recommendations regarding dietary diversity. It is especially recommended to delay the introduction of potentially allergenic foods such as eggs, fish, or meat.
Do not introduce products containing milk proteins into your child's diet (cereal flours with milk, dairy products, etc.) without medical advice.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO should not be taken in case of glucose-galactose malabsorption.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO contains phenylalanine.
Do not use after the date indicated on the package.
Close the jar with the plastic lid after each use.
Don't prepare the bottle in advance, but always just before feeding. Each meal should be consumed within an hour of preparation.
The product should not be reused if it remains in the bottle after feeding. Discard any remaining product.
Due to its particular composition, NOVALAC Allernova PRO has a typical appearance, smell and taste, different from those of classic formulas for early childhood.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO may naturally contain lighter aggregates consisting of dietary fibres which do not affect the quality of the product.
Consuming this product may cause the appearance of greener and less hard stools than a classic formula, but without causing discomfort for the newborn.
Do not use the bottle as a pacifier.
Don't add sugar.
The product must not be administered parenterally.

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and contamination.
