Each tablet contains the active substances: micronized mebendazole 480 mg, praziquantel (microencapsulated) 40 mg.

Directions
Treatment of parasitic infestations of dogs caused by nematodes (roundworms) and cestodes (flatworms): Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala, Strongyloides stercoralis, Trichuris vulpis, Taenia ovis, Taenia pisiformis, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia multiceps, Dipylidium caninum, Mesocestoides spp., Echinococcus spp.. By administering the veterinary medicinal product according to the indicated methods, the total disappearance of adult parasites is obtained; to eliminate the larval forms of Ascarids and Hookworms, it is necessary to repeat the complete treatment after 60 days for Ascarids infestations and after 18 days for Hookworm infestations, from the end of the first treatment. Elimination of parasites begins from the first administration; the complete disappearance of the eggs usually occurs within 10-15 days from the last administration. Therefore, the stool examination for control must be carried out after the aforementioned period of time has elapsed.

Dosage
For oral use. One tablet per 16 kg of body weight per day for two consecutive days, equivalent to 30 mg/kg bw/day of Mebendazole and 2.5 mg/kg bw/day of Praziquantel. To ensure administration of a correct dosage, body weight should be determined as accurately as possible. Always round the animal's weight to the next whole number. Underdosing may result in ineffective use and may promote the development of resistance. The tablet can be easily divided into four parts, each of which can be used to treat 4 kg of animal. Place the tablet on a flat surface with the side with the scored lines facing upwards. Apply pressure to the centre of the tablet with your thumb to obtain the division into 4 quarters. The chewable tablets are palatable to animals; they are taken spontaneously with rare exceptions; in these cases they can be crumbled and incorporated into a small quantity of palatable food or mixed with kibble. During treatment the animal does not lose vivacity or appetite.

Conservation
This veterinary medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions. Store in the original container. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 5 years.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: although Mebendazole has not shown teratogenic or embryotoxic effects typical of other benzimidazoles, as a precaution its use is not recommended during the first fifteen days of pregnancy. It can be used during breastfeeding.
