Description
Protonic S is a food intended for special medical purposes with a high protein content, vitamins and minerals, indicated for the dietary management of patients with an increased protein requirement, particularly in cases of protein malnutrition, loss of appetite of various kinds and to counteract the loss of muscle mass and osteo-muscular fragility due to advancing age.
Protonic S contains:
- High biological value proteins of which:
- 99% rapidly absorbed microfiltered whey protein isolate, effective for the recovery and maintenance of muscle mass. Whey proteins, compared to other protein sources, are rich in leucine, an amino acid believed to be a powerful signaling agent that stimulates muscle protein synthesis;
- 1% ovalbumin to increase the amino acid profile qualitatively and quantitatively without providing added fat;
- Vitamins C, B2 and E, selenium and zinc which contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress;
- Vitamins A, B6, B9, B12, and iron which contribute to the normal function of the immune system;
- High doses of Vitamin D and Calcium contribute to the maintenance of normal muscle and bone function.
PROTONIC S does not contain casein (allergenic and difficult to digest) or fat.

How to use
30 g of powder (about 3 scoops) should be reconstituted in at least 150 ml of liquid (water, milk, or other beverage). The powder's neutral flavor also allows it to be added to broths and soups.
We recommend taking 30 g per day or as directed by your doctor. At the recommended dosage, one package provides one week's treatment.
