Purofem Döderlein

Food supplement with lactoferrin and probiotics (lactic ferments resistant to the pH of the stomach and vagina) to restore the balance of the vaginal bacterial flora. The lactobacilli present in Purofem Döderlein are: Lactobacillus Crispatus, Saccharomyces Boulardii Lynside®, Lactobacillus Gasseri, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus.

Purofem Döderlein also has an excellent impact on the intestinal bacterial flora and promotes its balance in case of diarrheal episodes or during and after taking antibiotics. Purofem Döderlein remains a specific probiotic to rebalance the vaginal flora in the presence of vaginal infections such as candidiasis (candidiasis infection) and vaginosis.

The lactobacilli contained in Purofem Döderlein hinder the proliferation of pathogenic bacterial strains by depriving them of nourishment, occupying the possible adhesion sites on the intestinal walls. They also produce active natural substances that inhibit the replication of pathogens that cause the infection or intestinal and vaginal imbalance.

Lactobacillus crispatus is a lactobacillus naturally present in the female urogenital tract, which makes it the ideal candidate to colonize the vaginal environment. It is a natural antagonist of the most common pathogens that cause vaginal infections such as Candida, Gardnerella, Chlamydia and Trichomonas. It is able to compete with these microorganisms for nutrients and attachment sites to the vaginal epithelium, thus limiting their population and reproductive capacity. Furthermore, thanks to its metabolism, it is able to produce lactic acid with consequent reduction of vaginal pH, thus creating a more hostile environment for other pathogens that cause the infection. These characteristics make it an excellent natural ally to fight common vaginal infections, avoiding the use of antibiotics and antifungals.
Saccharomices Boulardii is a strain of tropical yeast similar to Candida suitable for effectively counteracting the proliferation of Candida albicans, Candida krusei and Candida pseudotropicalis. Its effectiveness is due to the mechanisms of competition for nourishment and reproductive sites that are established in the co-presence with Candida. This competition leads to a strong decrease in the population of both yeasts, with the difference that that of Saccharomices Boulardii is constantly replenished by the intake of the probiotic. Saccharomices Boulardii is resistant to antibiotics and for this reason it is indicated in case of antibiotic therapies.
Saccharomyces Boulardii has also demonstrated good immunostimulating properties that help the host organism strengthen its immune defenses in the presence of intestinal or vaginal infections.
Lactobacillus gasseri is a bacterium present in the intestinal and vaginal flora designed to prevent intestinal problems, facilitate digestion, improve nutrient absorption and prevent possible infections of the urogenital tract. Lactobacillus gasseri is essential for the balance of the intestinal flora because it protects the intestine and urogenital tract from pathogens that try to settle and reproduce there. In particular, Lactobacillus gasseri is a natural antagonist of the bacterium Helicobacter pylori. Its ability to protect and preserve the balance of the intestinal flora is also demonstrated by its ability to reduce abdominal swelling and constipation. Finally, this lactobacillus helps strengthen the immune system and supports it in the case of common intestinal and vaginal infections.
Lactobacillus Rhamnosus is a rod-shaped, Gram-positive probiotic bacterium that grows in small bacterial chains. It was the first strain of the Lactobacillus genus to be patented in 1989 and is now one of the most studied and used probiotic strains in probiotic supplements. It is naturally able to survive the pH of the stomach and colonize the entire digestive tract, proliferating quickly. Its main area of ​​action is the large intestine, where its production of lactic acid helps make the environment inhospitable for pathogenic bacteria. For this reason, it is very useful for preserving the balance of the intestinal microbiota and assisting in the treatment of gastrointestinal and diarrheal infections. Furthermore, L. Rhamnosus proves to be a useful ally in cases of bacterial vaginosis and Candida vaginitis. In fact, not only does it prevent and fight colonization by pathogenic bacteria in the intestinal and urogenital tract through direct competition, but in particular it encourages the growth of beneficial bacteria, such as Bacteroides, Clostridium and Bifidobacteria which in turn help fight the infection.

Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein found in high quantities in breast milk and is a fundamental element for the existence of white blood cells. Lactoferrin captures iron within itself and removes it from bacteria and pathogens such as candida that need it to survive and reproduce within the body. Furthermore, iron bound to lactoferrin is better absorbed by the intestinal walls, helping to compensate for iron deficiencies due to metabolism or pregnancy. Lactoferrin has also demonstrated an important natural anti-inflammatory activity and regulation of the immune system.
