REPY Dress HA
Description
Sterile disposable dressing to promote healing of skin lesions.
Thanks to the presence of manuka honey and adelmidrol, Repy Dress HA promotes correct skin healing of lesions of any origin (for example: traumatic, surgical, burns, avulsions, from scratching).
Repy Dress HA is a sterile, disposable gauze made of 100% pure cotton soaked in a solution of medical grade manuka honey and adelmidrol.
Monofloral manuka honey helps maintain proper moisture during healing. It also controls the development of surface microflora thanks to its high content of methylglyoxal (MGO), a natural antimicrobial agent in honey that has also been shown to reduce bacterial biofilm. Adelmidrol, a water-soluble analogue of palmitoylethanolamide, optimizes healing and improves skin tissue elasticity. It also has a soothing and anti-redness effect.
Dermatological product for dogs and cats.
Device for veterinary use.
How to use
- Clean the injured area and apply a thin layer of Repy Gel before applying the dressing.
- Open the package and remove one of the two protective films.
- Apply the non-film side of the gauze to the affected skin area; then remove the second protective film.
- Secure the dressing with a self-adherent bandage.
- Change daily if exudate is heavy; reduce the frequency of changes as the re-epithelialization process progresses and exudate levels decrease. Change at most every 3 days (or sooner if the dressing is completely dry).
- Apply a thin layer of Repy Gel each time the dressing is changed.
- Remove the dressing slowly and gently, using tweezers or two fingers (preferably wearing sterile gloves). If the dressing is stuck, moisten it with sterile saline solution before continuing with removal.
Conservation
Store at room temperature.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
