Description
Nasal kit that allows, thanks to the RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER device, the nebulization of RINOREX FLU SHOWER, a hypertonic saline solution with controlled pH with N-acetylcysteine.
RINOREX FLU SHOWER, thanks to its osmotic action, promotes mucociliary transport. It is indicated for all nasopharyngeal conditions characterized by congestion and impaired mucociliary clearance. It helps keep the nose clear, reduces dryness by gently hydrating its surface. It helps regulate nasal secretions and prevent the formation and buildup of bacterial biofilm.
Indicated exclusively for inhalation therapy of the upper respiratory tract.
RINOREX FLU SHOWER can be used to dilute medicines. In this case, carefully follow the instructions on the packaging of the medicine to be diluted.
Thanks to its specially designed shape, it fits ergonomically to the nostrils of children and adults.

How to use
Irrigate with RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER half a vial per nostril 1-2 times a day or more often, as needed or according to medical advice.

Direct irrigation
Detach a single-dose vial and open it by twisting the cap. Remove the plunger from the syringe and empty the vial into the syringe. Re-insert the plunger, expelling any air.
In children (depending on their level of cooperation), irrigation should be performed while lying on one side, with the head tilted to one side and the tip of the RINOREX NASAL NEBULITTAZORE dispenser gently inserted into the upper nostril. Press firmly on the syringe plunger to nebulize the solution.
For older children and adults, insert the tip of the RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER dispenser into one nostril, keeping the torso upright and without tilting the head. Inhale and simultaneously push firmly on the syringe piston to nebulize the solution.
Release the syringe plunger before exhaling. Repeat the previous step for the other nostril, trying to divide the solution evenly between both nostrils.
Before storing the kit, rinse RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER under running water.

Inhalation therapy
RINOREX FLU DOCCIA vials can also be used in case of inhalation therapy affecting the upper airways: in this case it is necessary to use nasal douches as inhalation devices.

Components
Each vial of RINOREX FLU DOCCIA contains: aqua, sodium chloride, acetyl cysteine, sodium bicarbonate, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, potassium sorbate, sodium dehydroacetate, disodium EDTA, Mentha aroma.

Warnings
Use the product for inhalation therapies only on the upper airways.
Not for use in children under 2 years of age. Keep out of the reach and sight of children to prevent misuse.
Warning: This product contains small parts that could be swallowed.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Not intended for oral use. Not for injection.
The vial is single-dose, non-resealable and non-reusable once opened.
Once the vial is opened, RINOREX FLU NASAL SHOWER has a sulphurous odour which is characteristic of the product.
Do not use if you have ongoing or recently completed nosebleeds, or if your nasal mucosa is damaged. In some cases, nebulization may cause a mild, transient feeling of local irritation.
The RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER is intended for a single patient, but can be reused for multiple nebulizations. Clean the RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER before each use.
Nasal irrigation devices should only ensure irrigation of the upper airways. If the product is inhaled into the lower airways, it may cause bronchospasm in patients with bronchial asthma. In this case, discontinue use immediately and consult your doctor.
Due to the presence of NAC, it is advisable to use glass and plastic devices as NAC can react chemically with certain materials (rubber, iron, copper).
The use of RINOREX FLU NASAL SHOWER KIT by children or non-self-sufficient people must be under the supervision of an adult who has read the instructions for use.
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product.
Do not use after the expiry date or if the package is opened or damaged.
Do not use if accidentally contaminated after opening.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions for use correctly could compromise the effectiveness of the product or cause existing problems to worsen, as well as causing the manifestation of previously non-existent issues.
Prolonged use may give rise to sensitization phenomena: if this occurs, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor in order to establish appropriate therapy.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the product components.

Conservation
Store at a temperature between 5°C and 25°C.
The expiry date indicated refers to the intact and correctly stored product.
Shelf life after opening: 6 months.

The kit contains:
- RINOREX FLU SHOWER: 10 vials of 10 ml;
- RINOREX NASAL NEBULIZER: medical device for nebulization, including a nasal dispenser and a non-sterile 5 ml Luer Lock syringe.
