Description
Macrogol 3350, thanks to its affinity for water, helps absorb water from the lumen, increasing fecal volume, making stool softer and easier to expel without causing cramps, abdominal pain, or emergency situations. The water-soluble fiber contained in psyllium creates a gel that hydrates the fecal mass. Thanks to this ability, psyllium promotes regular bowel function by stimulating peristalsis, reducing intestinal transit time, and aiding evacuation. The formulation's anti-foaming effect, simethicone, is effective in absorbing gastrointestinal gas associated with constipation.

Components
Each sachet contains: macrogol 3350, psyllium, and simethicone; excipients: citric acid, sucralose, acesulfame K, flavorings (orange and safflower), silicon dioxide, sodium bicarbonate, sunflower lecithin.

How to use
Children 6 to 12 years: 1 sachet per day.
Adults and children >12 years: 2 sachets per day.
Dissolve each sachet well in a full glass of water and drink immediately.

Warnings
Before using the product in children, it is advisable to seek the advice of a doctor.
Because psyllium has the ability to form a gel, the product should be taken between meals with an adequate amount of water (at least a full glass of water, two glasses if possible) to prevent it from swelling in the throat and causing choking. It is recommended to drink at least two liters of water a day for adults, and at least 1-1.5 liters a day for children and adolescents. If the condition persists after taking the product, consult your doctor.
Do not take Stipsigol Plus if you:
- intestinal obstruction or stenosis;
- intestinal perforation;
- inflammatory bowel disease.
There is no experience with its use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so it is recommended to take the product only on medical advice. Dosage adjustments are not necessary for patients with renal impairment. Use the product until symptoms resolve. Repeated use may be necessary for refractory or chronic constipation. This type of constipation can be caused by painkillers (opioids) and medications used to treat Parkinson's disease (anticholinergics), or may occur in diseases such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease. In these cases, do not take the product for more than thirty consecutive days. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
