Chicco's infrared ear thermometer detects temperature from the eardrum in about 1 second, providing a fast and accurate measurement. Temperature readings are in °C or °F.
Thanks to the small probe, it does not cause discomfort during measurement.
The backlit screen allows you to view body temperature even at night, without waking the child.

Warnings
1. The infrared ear thermometer is a precision device; do not allow children to play with it. Be careful not to drop it from a great height; a fall may cause the sensor to relax, affecting the accuracy of the temperature measurement.
2. The infrared ear thermometer should not be transported unpackaged to prevent mechanical vibrations from affecting the accuracy of temperature measurement.
3. If not used for a long time, remove the batteries and keep the device out of reach of children. Otherwise, it may be dangerous. Furthermore, if the battery is not used for a long time, it may cause malfunctions due to leakage.
4. This product contains sensitive electronic components and should be kept away from environments with strong electromagnetic interference (such as mobile phones, microwave ovens, etc.) to avoid temporary impact on accuracy.

Limitation: The device cannot replace a rectal thermometer for rectal measurement. When measuring, ensure the probe is aligned with the eardrum and in close contact with the ear canal.
Do not use an ear thermometer if there is inflammation in the ear canal. It is recommended to use an ear thermometer after recovering from surgery or ear canal trauma.
