The display will show \"188.8°EM\" for two seconds to verify that the reading is complete. The last measurement taken, the self-calibration indication of 37.0°C, and the flashing \"Lo °C\" (Lo °F) symbol, indicating the start of the measurement, will then appear in sequence for two seconds.\u003cbr\u003e An audible signal will alert you when a temperature reading has been taken. If the temperature is ≥ 37.8°C (≥ 100.0°F), a fever warning tone will sound.\u003cbr\u003e You can change the scale from Celsius (°C) to Fahrenheit (°F) by pressing the ON\/OFF button for a few seconds, with the thermometer turned off.
