Hair growth returned to normal within a few months after the young children were no longer exposed to minoxidil. If the skin of the scalp is damaged, the passage of the active substance (minoxidil) into the bloodstream may be higher (see section \"Do not use Trefostil 50 mg\/ml, cutaneous solution\");\u003cbr\u003e • do not apply this medicine at the same time as other dermatological treatments applied to the scalp; \u003cbr\u003e• do not apply to other parts of your body.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003e\u003cu\u003eDuring treatment\u003c\/u\u003e :\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e • In case of accidental contact with eyes, wounds, skin or irritated mucous membranes, the medicine, which contains ethanol (alcohol), may cause a burning or irritation sensation: the affected area must be washed thoroughly with cold tap water.\u003cbr\u003e Consult your doctor if symptoms persist.\u003cbr\u003e • A temporary increase in hair loss may occur during the first 2-6 weeks of treatment.
