What is it and what is it for?
TUSSIBRON contains the active substance oxolamine which belongs to a group of medicines called antitussives that work by relieving cough symptoms.
TUSSIBRON is indicated to treat cough symptoms.
What you need to know before taking the medicine
Do not take TUSSIBRON:
- if you are allergic to oxolamine, to similar substances or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking TUSSIBRON.
Do not use TUSSIBRON Syrup for prolonged treatments.
Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short time of treatment.
Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The following side effects may occur:
Frequency not known (the frequency of which cannot be estimated from the available data)
- stomach and intestinal disorders: nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
