Description
Dietary supplement based on Salix alba, bromelain from enteric-coated pineapple (Bromelain retard), Boswellia serrata, and vitamin B12, useful in all cases of reduced intake or increased needs. Boswellia serrata and Salix alba counteract localized tension and contribute to joint function. Vitamin B12 contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Property
Boswellia serrata is a fundamental element of traditional Ayurvedic medicine, due to its antiarthritic, astringent, expectorant and antiseptic properties.
The active ingredients inside the plant:
-reduce inflammation in models of systemic inflammatory diseases;
-reduce the antibody response of antibodies generally involved in the genesis of autoimmune diseases;
- they inhibit the activation of complement, an element capable of increasing the inflammatory and autoimmune response;
-exert a modest pain-relieving effect.
The above actions appear to be associated with the ability of boswellic acid to selectively inhibit the enzyme 5-lipoxygenase, involved in the synthesis of inflammatory mediators.
Vitamin B12 is an important coenzyme for cell reproduction and DNA synthesis. It also has positive effects on the health of the nervous system and brain. This vitamin's role in maintaining nerve health is primarily due to its antioxidant and biosynthetic functions, which are useful, respectively, in protecting nerve fibers, and particularly their myelin sheath, from lipid peroxidation caused by reactive oxygen species, and in the synthesis of nucleic acids and fatty acids necessary for maintaining neuronal trophicity.
Salix alba, or willow, is used in folk medicine primarily for its anti-inflammatory properties, primarily due to the inhibition of cyclooxygenase, the enzymes most involved in the inflammatory cascade. These effects are attributable to its salicin content, which, once ingested and following intestinal and hepatic metabolism, is converted into salicylic acid. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, it is particularly suitable for the treatment of rheumatic pain.
Enteric-coated bromelain (Bromelami retard) is a proteolytic enzyme found in two different forms in pineapple juice, pulp, and especially in the stem. Its primary use is as an anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous agent. Aristeia Farmaceutici has included a special enteric-coated form of bromelain to ensure the enzyme's functions are not affected in the stomach, thus ensuring maximum efficacy. It is particularly effective in treating soft tissue inflammation associated with trauma and localized inflammation, compared to other proinflammatory prostaglandin molecules.

How to use
We recommend taking 1 tablet, swallowed with plenty of water, preferably on a full stomach, 1 to 3 times a day.

Do not use if allergic to salicylates. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. This product should be used as part of a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package. The expiration date refers to the product in its intact packaging and stored properly.
