Food supplement based on lactoferrin, colostrum, zinc and vitamin D3 useful for providing an additional amount of these components to the daily diet.
The immune system is an important defense system against bacterial, viral and fungal infections. It is composed of both organs and cells responsible for these defenses. The main organs are the spleen, the various capsulated and non-capsulated lymph nodes and the lymphatic tracts. The most important cells are the lymphocytes capable of recognizing and attacking pathogens both directly and through the production of antibodies (immunoglobulins). The defenses of the respiratory tract, especially those of the upper airways, are mainly managed by a non-capsulated lymph node system, the Waldeyer's lymphatic ring, made up of lymphoid tissue that surrounds the choanae and the isthmus of the fauces and composed of a closed line that from the pharyngeal tonsil, descends on both sides to the tubal tonsils, the palatine tonsils or amygdal tonsils, finally ending on the lingual tonsil. The Waldimmun product is able to guarantee nutrients that physiologically control the homeostasis of the immune system, also acting on the Waldeyer's Ring.
Composition:
a) lactoferrin: lactoferrin, also called lactoferrin or lactotransferrin, is a multifunctional glycoprotein. Considered one of the most important factors of natural immunity, as it has a broad spectrum of biological activities. Lactoferrin is one of the main components of innate immunity, but it also takes part in specific immunity reactions, which is why its integration is useful for strengthening the immune system;
b) colostrum 30% IGG: colostrum is the first secretion product of the mammary gland of mammals. It is, therefore, the first real immunomodulatory "food" with which the gastrointestinal tract comes into contact, capable of promoting the development of lymphocytes, immunoglobulins of type G and A (macrophages and cytokines). The bovine colostrum used is characterized by a qualitative composition very similar to human colostrum, but is richer in immune factors. The colostrum present in Waldimmun is characterized by a certified IgG content. The strict controls to which it is subjected throughout the supply chain guarantee the absence of contaminants and qualify it as a safe and well-tolerated ingredient;
c) vitamin D3: calciferol is 50/100 times more active than vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol). A hormonal product, essential in calcium metabolism and in the regulation of the immune system by interacting positively with the innate and adaptive component of the same. Vitamin D is essential for the correct development and well-being of our bones. Vitamin D can be considered an ally of our immune system. Considering that low levels of this vitamin are associated with defects in the immune response, especially in the airways, it is advisable to maintain normal blood levels both through a correct diet and through correct supplementation;
d) Zinc gluconate: Zinc is a fundamental element for the normal functioning of the immune system. The use of the gluconate form is due to the fact that the Zn bound to the gluconate molecule is more easily absorbed.

How to use
It is recommended to take one stick pack per day to dissolve in the mouth. Pour the contents into the mouth and swallow without chewing.

Warnings
Keep out of reach of children under three years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Supplements should not be considered as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Excessive consumption may have laxative effects.
