The new dose will be established by your doctor.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Ask your doctor for advice if you have problems urinating (in conditions such as spinal cord injury or bladder or prostate problems).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you are an epileptic patient or a patient at risk of convulsions, you should seek medical advice.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e No clinically significant interactions have been observed between alcohol (at blood levels of 0.5 per thousand (g\/l) corresponding to a glass of wine) and cetirizine used at the recommended doses. However, there are no data available on the safety when higher doses of cetirizine and alcohol are taken simultaneously. Therefore, as with all antihistamines, it is recommended to avoid the concomitant intake of Zirtec with alcohol.\u003cbr\u003e   \u003cbr\u003eIf you need to have an allergy test, ask your doctor if you should stop taking Zirtec for a few days before the test. This medicine may affect the results of the allergy test.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eChildren\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Do not give this medicine to children under 6 years of age because the tablet formulation does not allow for the necessary dose adjustments.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003ePossible side effects\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eThe following side effects are rare or very rare.
