Description
A medical device for external use, based on BIOGR-6, a bioactive plant extract. When applied to the skin, BioEpithelia Base exerts a strong barrier effect thanks to a natural protein and carbohydrate film that isolates the skin from the external environment and any microbial growth, thus creating a unique microenvironment favorable for normal and spontaneous skin regeneration. Its action is particularly indicated for all skin conditions, with or without damaged skin, such as, for example, severely inflamed skin, post-surgical scarring, burns, sores, ulcers, radiodermatitis, sunburn, diaper rash, contact eczema, cracked hands, breast sores, anal fissures, and diabetic foot. It is also particularly suitable for the treatment of psoriasis and intolerant, reactive, and allergic skin.
BioEpithelia Base does not contain ethoxylated emulsifiers, parabens, phenoxyethanol, gluten, or lactose. BioEpithelia Base is manufactured in compliance with the requirements of Directive 93/42/EEC and subsequent amendments and additions.

How to use
Clean hands and the area to be treated thoroughly before use.
Apply a sufficient amount to the area to be treated to form a thin protective layer.
Apply Bioepithelia Base skin emulsion three times a day until the problem resolves. If the skin to be treated is damaged, use a sterile cotton gauze to apply the product. Gently apply the product to the affected area.
Do not rinse.
After use, close the product tightly and store away from heat sources.
Studies conducted on BioEpithelia Base have not found any specific contraindications or allergic or irritating effects if the product is used as directed in the package leaflet.

Aqua, BIOGR-6, Coco-Caprylate, Simmondsia Chinensis Oil, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl olivate, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Sorbitan Olivate, Squalane, Parfum, Sodium Benzoate, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Xanthangum, Potassium Sorbate, Phytic Acid, Tocopherol, Lonicera Caprifolium Flower Extract, Lonicera Japonica Flower Extract.

Warnings
Do not use BioEpithelia Base in case of known hypersensitivity to one of the components.
The medical device is intended for external use only.
The device is not sterile.
If the symptom persists even after adequate use of BioEpithelia Base, consult your doctor.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Avoid excessive and improper use.
Avoid contact with eyes and ingestion of the product.
Avoid prolonged exposure of the device to light.
Before use, check the integrity of the device and do not use if it is dirty or damaged.
Do not use the medical device after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
Bioepithelia Base skin emulsion is generally well tolerated.
In case of sensitization or allergy phenomena, discontinue treatment.
Do not ingest.

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.
Store away from heat sources at room temperature. Protect from sunlight.
BioEpithelia Base must be kept out of the reach of children.
Once the expiry date and/or the period after opening has passed, BioEpithelia Base must be disposed of as waste in accordance with current legislation according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer and on the packaging.

BioEpithelia Base is a class I medical device according to rule I of Annex IX of Directive 93/42/EEC (and subsequent amendments and additions).
