Description
Ear solution with ceruminolytic and rebalancing activity for dogs and cats.
The complete formula provides a triple action:
- earwax solvent, thanks to the combined presence of perhydrosqualene, a powerful ceruminolytic that is non-irritating for the delicate epithelia of the ear canal, and isopropyl myristate, a non-toxic and hypoallergenic fat solvent;
- sanitizing and odor-reducing, thanks to tea tree essential oil, it helps create an environment unfavorable to the proliferation of bacteria and yeasts and the attack of pests such as flies, mosquitoes, etc.;
- soothing and repairing, thanks to bisabolol and calendula and helichrysum extracts.
Indicated for routine ear hygiene maintenance in dogs and cats and as an adjunct in the treatment of external ear conditions characterized by itching, erythema, alterations in bacterial and fungal flora, associated with excessive earwax production and malodor. Cerulen is particularly useful for cleaning before applying topical ear medications.

How to use
When using Cerulen for the first time, open the bottle and insert the adapter fully into the neck of the bottle. Once in place, the adapter does not need to be removed.
Hold the bottle upright and insert the syringe tip into the appropriate slot on the adapter. Make sure the plunger is fully inserted into the syringe.
Invert the bottle with the syringe inserted and slowly pull the plunger, allowing the solution to flow to the desired amount. If you withdraw excess solution, return the bottle to an upright position and slowly empty the excess amount back into the bottle.
Return the bottle to an upright position, remove the syringe from the adapter, and gently instill the contents into the animal's ear.
Gently instill the solution into the ear canal of each ear using the appropriate syringe at the rate of:
1 notch (equal to 0.125 ml) for cats;
3 notches (equal to 0.375 ml) for small dogs;
5-8 notches (equal to 0.625 - 1 ml) for medium and large dogs.
Massage the base of the ear from bottom to top to help release debris.
For best results, leave the product on for at least 15 minutes.
Remove earwax and debris that has emerged using gauze or a hygienic wipe (avoid using sharp instruments or cotton buds to avoid causing injury inside the ear canal).
Shaking the animal's head helps dislodge debris from the deep portion of the external ear canal.
At the end of the procedure, a micro-oily film remains on the inner surface of the auricle, which helps to ensure an additional protective barrier against external harmful agents.
