Description
Silicon dietary supplement that stimulates collagen production, reduces skin thinning, prevents the appearance of wrinkles and dry skin, improves hair quality, prevents hair loss, and strengthens nails.
Colasil stimulates the synthesis of new collagen. Through the patented Collasil OSA complex, in which silicon is present as orthosilicic acid (SiOH4) linked by hydrogen bonds to marine collagen, the silicon passes through the gastrointestinal tract unharmed and binds to the glycocalyx to become bioavailable. The silicon in Colasil is involved in the synthesis and stabilization of extracellular matrix components, as well as in the proliferation of connective tissue cells. Endogenous collagen, which declines starting at age 21, requires silicon for its synthesis.

Taurine: antioxidant properties, counteracts the glycation of elastic and collagen fibres.
