Dafneben promotes the restoration of the normal physiological endovaginal condition.
The internal application of the gelling agent Guar Gum forms a hydrogel on the vaginal mucosa a few minutes after the capsules dissolve.
This hydrogel adheres to the vaginal wall and, by producing a physical barrier against potentially pathogenic microorganisms, lubricates and moistens the vagina.
The probiotic microorganisms Lactobacilli ( Lactobacillus Crispatus, Lactobacillus Jensenii, Lactobacillus Rhamnosus, Lactobacillus Reuteri ) which are disseminated into the vagina rebalance the internal microflora (Doderlein complex), enhancing the barrier effect of the hydrogel and promoting the restoration of the physiological pH (4.0-4.5), which is in itself a protective factor.
The prebiotic inulin is a substance that is not absorbed by the body, but represents a selective nourishment for the microorganisms of the vaginal flora present in Dafneben, thus promoting their ability to colonize the vaginal ecosystem, reducing the time it takes for the normal microflora to recover.
Lactobacilli are non-pathogenic regular guests of the vagina, therefore Dafneben can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The gelling agent Guar Gum is considered safe as it is widely used as a food additive (E 412).
Dafneben is not absorbed, leaves no residue and is eliminated with the physiological exudates normally produced by the vaginal mucosa.
Ingredients
Each hard vegetable gelatin capsule contains: Guar gum, methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM), Lactobacillus crispatus, Lactobacillus jensenii, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus reuteri, inulin, vegetable magnesium stearate.

How to use
Before use, wash your hands thoroughly, remove the capsule from the housing, and insert it gently and as deeply as possible into the vaginal canal to promote rapid dissolution, preferably in a lying position, at bedtime. The recommended dose is 1 capsule daily for 8 days, unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor.
Warnings
Keep this product out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not take the product orally.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Do not use the product after the expiration date printed on the package, or if the package is damaged or torn.
During pregnancy or breastfeeding, use the product only after consulting your doctor.
If irritation or adverse reactions of any kind occur, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use with other medical devices or medications for vaginal use without first consulting your doctor.
Prolonged use of topical products applied to body surfaces can give rise to allergic sensitization phenomena.
If these phenomena occur, it is advisable to suspend treatment and consult your doctor.
