DERMACIT
Medical device in gel, designed to protect and prevent the onset of infections through a barrier effect that creates the conditions for faster healing of skin lesions. It is composed of substances naturally present in the body (hyaluronic acid and hydrogen peroxide) capable of creating a microenvironment unfavorable to contamination by microorganisms that helps the healing process.
It is particularly indicated in cases of: superficial traumatic wounds such as cuts, abrasions, small cracks and treatment of post-surgical scars.
How to use
Wash your hands thoroughly before use. Clean the skin thoroughly with a suitable cleansing solution or sterile saline solution before applying the product. Spread a small amount of product evenly over the affected area. It can be used alone or with suitable secondary dressings, such as gauze, bandages, plasters, non-adherent dressings, to keep it in place. If necessary, repeat the application several times a day. It can also be used for repeated applications beyond 30 days. If the device is applied to the patient by third parties, it is recommended that they use disposable gloves.
Warnings
It is usually well tolerated. However, for a short time after applying the product, you may feel a slight redness accompanied by a slight burning sensation. In the presence of purulent wounds, it is advisable to consult your doctor as it may be necessary to combine local or systemic antibiotic therapies. Report any unwanted effects to your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one of the components. Avoid contact with eyes. If the product comes into contact with your eyes, rinse them immediately with plenty of cold water. Keep the product out of the reach of children. After use, carefully close the cap. Do not use if the tube is damaged. If the device is applied by third parties, it is advisable for them to use disposable gloves. Do not use the product beyond the expiry date indicated on the box and tube.
