ANAL DILATORIt contains a thermoaccumulator gel capable of providing the benefits of thermotherapy or cryotherapy in various anal pathological conditions:
stenosis (narrowing) of the orifice of cicatricial or idiopathic origin;
hypertonicity or sphincter spasm caused by hemorrhoids, essential proctalgia, fissure, with possible secondary constipation;
prevention of postoperative stenosis after surgery for hemorrhoids and fistula.
How to use:
For cryotherapy, chill the dilator before use in the refrigerator or immerse it in ice water for 10–15 minutes. For thermotherapy, warm the dilator in hot water (no higher than 50°C) for about 10–15 minutes.
Then, coat the dilator with lubricating cream or ointment. Insert the dilator slowly into the anal orifice up to its base while sitting on the bidet or lying on a bed, either before or after a bowel movement. In cases of sphincter spasm, it is advisable to precede dilation with a warm bidet, which has a relaxing effect on the anal sphincters. The dilator should be left in place for about one to three minutes and then slowly removed. It is advisable not to stand or walk with the dilator inserted.
