Directions
For the treatment of mixed infections of cats by nematodes and tapeworms, caused by Ascarids: Toxocara cati (syn. mystax), Toxascaris leonina. Hookworms: Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Ancylostoma braziliense. Tapeworms: Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Mesocestoides spp., Joyeuxiella spp..
Dosage
Dosage: The dose is 5 mg praziquantel and 57.5 mg pyrantelembonate per kg body weight. This corresponds to 1 tablet per 4 kg body weight. The tablet can be divided as needed. Route of administration To be administered orally to cats. The tablets are administered directly or by wrapping them in a piece of meat or sausage or by crushing them into small pieces in the feed. No dietary measures are necessary. The use is in a single solution.
Conservation
This veterinary medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions. Shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 5 years.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Drontal should not be used during pregnancy.
