Description
A complete supplement, essential for supplementing a homemade, elimination, or boneless BARF diet for senior cats. The presence of macro minerals (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, chloride, sodium, and potassium), trace minerals (zinc, iron, copper, manganese, selenium, and iodine), and all vitamins has been carefully considered, taking into account the typical deficiencies of traditional homemade diets.
The high content of antioxidant nutrients (vitamins E and C, taurine, echinacea, and panax ginseng) contributes to a healthy immune system. Inulin, with its prebiotic effect, promotes a balanced intestinal microflora, reducing the risk of constipation. Cartilage precursors (chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine), antioxidants, and manganese contribute to joint health, which is often a problem in older animals, while the proper balance of calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin D contributes to skeletal health. The presence of taurine, carnitine, and antioxidant nutrients can improve cardiac function. Adequate taurine intake, essential for felines, contributes to the proper function of the heart and retina.
ESSENTIAL Senior Cat has a reduced allergenic power, as it contains only hydrolyzed proteins, and is therefore suitable for use in cats suffering from allergies or food intolerances.
