Food supplement.
Folic acid supplementation increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor for the development of fetal neural tube defects. The product is intended for women of childbearing age; the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily folic acid supplement of 400 mcg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. Neural tube defects in the fetus are due to multiple risk factors, and addressing any one of these factors may not have a beneficial effect. Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.

How to use
Take 1 capsule daily, with a glass of water, preferably in the morning.
