Description
Medical device with laxative action which, through an osmotic action, regulates the intestine in a natural way.
It is not absorbed or fermented in the intestine, does not irritate the mucosa and is eliminated in the feces in unchanged form.
It is indicated in the treatment of constipation.
Thanks to its affinity for water, Fisiopax Adults softens the stool, facilitating evacuation without causing cramps or abdominal pain, or conditions of urgency.
Its effectiveness does not decrease over time.

Components
Each sachet contains 10 g of Makropur, a purified macrogol 3350.
Gluten free.
Lactose free.

How to use
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, it is advisable to use Fisiopax Adults according to the following methods.
- Adults: 1 to 3 sachets per day. The dose may be increased or decreased depending on the individual response to treatment. In any case, it is advisable to seek the advice of a doctor.
The maximum necessary dose does not normally exceed 30 g of product per day.
Dissolve one sachet (10 g) in approximately 1 glass of water (approximately 125 ml). It is possible to dissolve the product in a liquid other than water (tea, milk, broth or fruit juice).
It is possible to divide the daily dose into several administrations.

Warnings
Keep the device and any solution obtained out of the reach of children.
Do not use the device after the expiry date shown on the package.
Do not use if package is damaged.
Do not exceed the recommended doses: in case of overdose, intense pain and abdominal distension may occur. Induced diarrhea may also occur, with electrolyte disturbances caused by possible excessive evacuation. In case of suspected overdose, contact your doctor immediately.
Do not use Fisiopax Adults for more than 30 consecutive days. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
During treatment with Fisiopax Adults it is advisable to follow an appropriate diet, accompanied by the administration of an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to avoid dehydration, however it is advisable to consult your doctor.
Gastrointestinal disturbances (abdominal pain, rumbling, diarrhea or loose stools) may appear, especially in the initial phase of use, in addition to nausea, mild vomiting, abdominal distension, flatulence, inflammation and perianal irritation, effects that normally improve by reducing the dose.
Allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, have been observed very rarely. Other symptoms of allergic reactions include itching, urticaria and dyspnoea.
If side effects persist, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor.
Do not use under 6 months.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take Fisiopax Adults only after consulting your doctor.
The use of the device is not recommended in case of: intestinal perforation or obstruction due to structural or functional disorders of the intestinal wall, ileum, severe inflammatory diseases of the intestinal tract, such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and toxic megacolon.
Do not use if you have known gastric or intestinal lesions.
Each sachet is single-use and should only be opened when ready to use.
Do not take the medical device while using other devices or oral medicinal products: the osmotic power of macrogol and the increase in the speed of gastrointestinal transit induced may negatively affect their effectiveness. In any case, consult your doctor before taking Fisiopax Adulti in case of other therapies in progress.
To date, no interactions with drugs are known, but it is advisable to take the product at least two hours after taking drugs administered orally.

Conservation
Store the unopened package in a dry place away from direct light or heat. Store the device below 25°C.
Validity with intact packaging: 36 months.
