Composition
In addition to GAGs (glycosaminoglycans) with chondroprotective activity, it contains microcrystalline hydroxylapatite (MCHC), a substance normally contained in over 90% of bones and teeth. This substance induces the differentiation of osteoblasts and therefore promotes the growth of the bone itself, as well as ensuring resistance and elasticity of the bone tissue. At the dental level, it promotes the formation of enamel. Microcrystalline hydroxylapatite, in addition to calcium, contains mineral phosphates consisting of: phosphorus; magnesium; fluorides; zinc; copper; manganese; silicon; rubidium; platinum; borium. It is also made up of organic substances such as: active enzymes; collagen fi bres; amino acids.
Also contains: VIT B12; VITB6;VIT C.
Thanks to these components:
- stimulates the formation of bones and cartilage, promoting the stability and elasticity of bone tissue;
- improves collagen production;
- increases the resistance of connective structures (joint capsules, tendons, ligaments, muscles), thanks to silicon dioxide, in the form of silicic acid, normally present in connective tissue;
- contributes to better health of teeth and gums, thanks to the vitamin C it contains;
- it cushions micro traumas (shocks and pressure on the joints), thanks to the GAGs (Glycosaminoglycans) which derive from the extract of Perna Canaliculus, since these substances have a great capacity to “bind” water which, at the level of the joints, plays a “shock absorber” role;
- reduces inflammation, and consequently pain, thanks to the ?3-?6 acids contained in high quantities in the Perna Canaliculus extract, which inhibit the mediators of inflammation, i.e. leukotrienes and prostaglandins. Gag Plus 60 tablets 100gr
Recommended:
- in puppies, especially of large and/or heavy breeds, to promote the development of straight and aligned extremities, during the growth phase, when the longitudinal growth of the bones is not yet complete
- during growth for puppies and young dogs with deformed extremities (valgus and varus legs).
- after fractures and surgical interventions on the osteo-articular system because it promotes a more rapid formation of bone callus;
- in hyperextension of the elbows, a frequent problem during growth in large and/or heavy breed dogs;
- in dogs that perform intense physical activity (working dogs, sled dogs, hunting dogs, civil protection dogs, competition dogs, dogs involved in agility,...) because it promotes the stability and elasticity of bone tissue;
- in older dogs, for the prevention of osteoporosis, as it stimulates bone growth where bone substance is lacking.
- as a protector of the gums and an aid in the formation of optimal teeth

How to use
Young dogs from the eighth week:
- Preventiv: 2 tablets per 10 kg of body weight up to (max. 16 tablets) the 15th month of life.
- In case of deformed extremities 4 tablets per 10 kg of body weight (max. 16 tablets), at least for 4 months, then 2 tablets per 10 kg of body weight will be sufficient
Older dogs:
- 4 tablets per 10 kg of body weight. (max.16 tablets)
Performance Dogs:
- 2 2 tablets per 10 kg of body weight during the performance phase.
After bone fractures:
- 4 tablets per 10 kg of body weight (maximum 16 tablets) during the healing process.
