VAGINAL DOUSING
DescriptionCE Medical Device (Dir. 93/42/EEC) Class IIa.
Vaginal hygienic supplement indicated as an adjuvant and preventative treatment of vaginal inflammatory conditions, helping to alleviate the symptoms (burning, irritation and itching).
It is also useful for:
- clean and remove any residues of medications used vaginally (read the instructions on the packaging first);
- regular intimate hygiene;
- intimate hygiene at the end of the menstrual period;
- intimate hygiene after sexual intercourse;
- cleanse in case of abundant vaginal secretions.
How to use
Douche 1-2 times a week or as directed by your doctor. Twist the top of the butterfly cap until it breaks and insert the cannula onto the bottle cap, applying light pressure. Assume a comfortable position (sitting or slightly lying on the bidet or toilet) and gently insert the cannula 3-4 cm into the vagina. Do not insert the cannula too deeply. Slowly squeeze the bottle (preferably upside down) and gradually allow all the solution to flow into the vagina. Do not rinse after douching.
Components
Aqua, distilled rose water, distilled chamomile water, distilled witch hazel water, chlorhexidine digluconate, lavender essence, lactic acid, cocamidopropyl betaine, PPG-26-buteth-26, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil.
Warnings
Single use only. Do not reuse the bottle and cannula after use and discard them.
Violent irrigation or excessively deep insertion of the cannula may cause the cannula and/or solution to pass beyond the vaginal canal and, in some cases, cause a vagal reaction. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not ingest. Any sediment at the bottom of the cannula does not indicate product deterioration.
Use, especially if prolonged, of all topical products may cause sensitization. If you experience these or other side effects, discontinue use and inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the product's components. If you are pregnant, consult your doctor.
It is recommended that you consult your doctor before using the product in combination with other medical devices or medications for vaginal use.
Do not use after the expiry date or if the package is opened or damaged.
Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
