Isypan Constipation has a high capacity to rehydrate and soften hard stools, facilitating their evacuation and giving a feeling of relief.
It has a physical mechanism of action and works gently: it is not absorbed by the body, is eliminated in an unchanged form and does not give rise to gas production.
It can be taken in the case of occasionally irregular bowel movements and is particularly indicated in chronic constipation.
It is suitable for children aged 2 and over, the elderly and celiacs.
Its regulating function is supported by a healthy lifestyle and a correct diet, rich in fibre, fruit and vegetables, with an adequate intake of liquids and good physical activity.
It contains no flavors, no sugar and no electrolytes.

How to use
Isypan Constipation can be used from 2 years of age.
Isypan Constipation shows its effectiveness 48 hours after taking it and can be used for treatments lasting a maximum of 30 days.
Its formulation containing only macrogol 4000 makes it suitable for patients who require a low-sodium, galactose-free and gluten-free diet.
It should be diluted with a drink of your choice, cold or hot (about 150 ml): for example a glass of water, fruit juice, tea or even milk, stirring until a homogeneous solution is obtained. The absence of flavourings and sweeteners does not alter the taste of the drink. Drink the reconstituted solution. The product is for single use, do not use the sachets partially or already opened. Do not use the device in a way other than that indicated by the manufacturer.
- Adults: the appropriate dose is the minimum sufficient to produce regular evacuation of soft stools and must be adjusted according to the effects observed. It varies from 1 sachet every other day (particularly for pediatric use) up to 2 sachets per day. When regular defecation is achieved, the dosage must be reduced to 1 sachet per day or every other day. The maximum daily dose can be up to 20 g and can be taken in a single administration. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 20 g.
- Children: for patients aged 2 years and over, the recommended dose is 0.7 g/kg. Up to 20 kg of weight, the dosage should be adjusted to body weight according to the doctor's instructions.

Warnings
Do not take Isypan Constipation in case of hypersensitivity to macrogol 4000 and gastrointestinal perforation and/or obstruction. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Isypan Constipation.
As with all laxatives, before starting treatment, the presence of organic disorders must be excluded. Isypan Constipation can be taken for prolonged periods but if the symptoms persist despite associated dietary measures, a doctor's opinion is necessary to exclude underlying pathologies.
There are no adequate and well-controlled studies, therefore do not take Isypan Constipation during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding.
Do not take concomitantly with oral medications.
Excessive doses of Isypan Constipation may cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, abdominal distension and vomiting, which resolve when treatment is stopped or the dose is reduced. In these circumstances, you should contact your doctor.
Do not take a double dose of Isypan Constipation to make up for a forgotten dose.
Keep out of reach of children.

Possible side effects in adults and children: diarrhoea, abdominal pain, abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting, faecal incontinence and flatulence. Rare cases of allergic reactions, in which case stop using the product and inform your doctor or pharmacist. In case of diarrhoea, which generally disappears when treatment is stopped or the dose is reduced, it may be appropriate to contact your doctor. If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Conservation
Store the original packaging in a cool, dry place, out of sight and reach of children.
The expiry date indicated refers to the product in its intact packaging and stored correctly.
Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
Validity with intact packaging: 60 months.
