Description
Warming Mask. Relieves dryness, tiredness and pain in the eyes associated with meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD is a major cause of dry eye) and other eye conditions. May also relieve discomfort experienced by contact lens wearers with dry eye. Fast and long-lasting effect.
Handmade and patented, reusable mask.
How to use
For the first 2 weeks, apply BLEPHA EYEBAG, twice a day, morning and evening, 5-10 minutes each time. After the first 2 weeks, the normal application rate is 3 to 4 times a week; depending on the severity of the symptoms, the frequency can be adjusted.
Remove BLEPHA EYEBAG from the box and place it on a clean, dry, microwave-safe plate. Always ensure that the plate you use is perfectly clean.
1. Heat BLEPHA EYEBAG for 1 minute in a well-operated microwave oven on maximum power, then allow to cool completely.
Microwave oven power and heating time:
over 750 W for 30 seconds;
750W and below for 40 seconds.
2. Shake BLEPHA EYEBAG to evenly distribute the flax seeds inside, thus helping the heat to spread.
3. Before applying BLEPHA EYEBAG to closed eyelids, check that it is pleasantly warm but not excessively warm. Carefully test the temperature of the grey (silk) side of BLEPHA EYEBAG on your wrist. If it is too warm, wait a few minutes, then check again and then apply to your eyes.
4. After making sure the temperature is comfortable, lie down and apply the mask to your closed eyelids. Apply one side or the other of the mask according to your preference. The black side is less hot. You can then switch to the silk side within 10 minutes. Relax with BLEPHA EYEBAG in place for 5-10 minutes.
5. Remove BLEPHA EYEBAG from your eyes. Due to the heating effect of the mask, it is normal for the skin to be red after use.
6. Once the application is complete, massage the closed eyelids to facilitate the distribution of the oily secretion of the Meibomian glands. Repeat several times for about 30 seconds.
7. After using BLEPHA EYEBAG and massaging, you can cleanse your eyelids with a specific eyelid cleansing product.
8. After use, always put BLEPHA EYEBAG back in its box.
In case of dry eye
1. Cleaning the eyelids:
- heating: the heat dissolves the lipid secretions inside the gland thus allowing the effective distribution of the tear film;
- massage the eyelids to facilitate the elimination of the melibum that clogs the melibomian glands;
- clean eyelids and eyelashes with a suitable eye care product to remove secretions, deposits or crusts.
2. Hydration: It is ideal to use preservative-free eye drops to keep the eye hydrated and comfortable all day long.

Warnings
Do not use BLEPHA EYEBAG if the skin around the eyes is cracked or bleeding.
Do not apply BLEPHA EYEBAG to the face if you have a known hypersensitivity to flax, linseed or any other component of BLEPHA EYEBAG.
The following side effects may occur: eye/eyelash irritation, pain, redness and itching. If you experience any side effects or unusual sensations after applying the product, contact a healthcare professional and report the relevant information to your local distributor, manufacturer or local health authorities.
Do not use if package is damaged.

Conservation
Store BLEPHA EYEBAG in its box, in a clean and dry place. If used once a day, the BLEPHA EYEBAG mask must be replaced after 6 months.
