Description
Multi-layered dressing consisting of an absorbent polyurethane foam, an external polyurethane film, a non-adherent contact layer to the wound bed and a hydrocolloid adhesive border.
It is an extremely flexible dressing: it can stretch up to 22% of its original size. Because of this, it can also be used to prevent postoperative blisters, reducing potential complications and improving treatment outcomes.
It does not stick to sutures and is able to absorb serum and blood.
It can be used both as a primary and secondary dressing.
The dressing can be cut before use, without compromising the structural and functional characteristics of the dressing.
Contains no phthalates.
Product manufactured without natural rubber latex.
Sterilized by beta radiation.

Components
Multilayered hydrophilic dressing composed of:
- central pad in polyurethane foam with high-absorption microcapillaries, with a vertical honeycomb structure, with the exclusive 3DFit Technology;
- transparent contact layer, non-adherent to the wound bed: allows for atraumatic removal;
- outer layer made of breathable, semi-permeable polyurethane film (impermeable to liquids and bacteria, but permeable to gases);
- hypoallergenic hydrocolloidal adhesive edge, makes the entire surface hydroactive.

3DFit Technology gives the foam the ability to trap and retain exudate; the beveled, heat-sealed edges of the foam limit its imprint on the periwound skin, helping to reduce the risk of leakage and maceration of the wound edges and periwound skin, even under compression. By conforming to the wound bed, the foam fills dead spaces and promotes the creation of a moist environment ideal for wound healing. The foam can conform to wounds up to 2 cm deep.

Warnings
Disposable product.
Remove the dressing before radiation treatment (X-rays, ultrasound treatment, diathermy and microwaves).
