Description
Meticol is a medical device in the form of oral drops indicated for the treatment of dyspeptic disorders, gastrointestinal meteorism, aerophagia, and gas colic in infants, children, and adults.
How to use
Shake well before use. Reclose the bottle after use.
Adults: 20-40 drops, possibly diluted in liquid, 2-4 times a day, preferably after meals or as directed by a doctor.
Children: 20 drops, preferably after meals, and possibly diluted in liquid 1-3 times a day or as directed by a doctor.
Infants: 20 drops, preferably after meals, and possibly diluted in liquid 1-2 times a day or as directed by your doctor.
Components
Simethicone in olive oil, vitamin A, vitamin E and coenzyme Q.
No preservatives, flavorings, sweeteners or sugars.
Gluten free.
Warnings
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the components.
The product may appear in two phases: after shaking it should appear as a homogeneous emulsion.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use the product after the expiration date; the expiration date refers to the intact and properly stored product. Do not use the product if the packaging is damaged. All product components, including the dropper, must be intact. After a short period of treatment (7 days) without noticeable results, consult your doctor. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor to establish appropriate treatment. During use, if you suspect accidental contamination of the dropper, wash it thoroughly before returning it to the appropriate bottle to prevent possible contamination.
Following the instructions in the package leaflet reduces the risk of side effects. However, it is important to report any side effects not described in the package leaflet to your doctor or pharmacist.
No interactions with other drugs are known or reported. No incompatibilities with other pharmaceutical products have been reported.
There are no adequate data on the use of the product in pregnant women, therefore it should not be used unless really necessary and after evaluation by a doctor.
It is not known whether simethicone is excreted in breast milk, therefore it should not be used unless clearly necessary after evaluation by a doctor.
No effects on the ability to drive or use machines have been reported.
No adverse effects have been observed. No cases of overdose have been reported.
Conservation
Store at room temperature. Keep the container tightly closed and away from heat. The product should not be used more than 30 days after opening.
