Description
Medical device based on glycerol, chamomile and mallow, single-use, indicated for rectal use in micro-enemas, indicated to facilitate evacuation activity in case of constipation.
Glycerol exerts a mechanical laxative action thanks to its mechanism of attracting water into the feces, softening them and causing peristalsis and intestinal evacuation.
Indicated for the short-term treatment of occasional constipation.
How to use
Remove the cannula cover by bending it at the base. Lubricate the cannula with a drop of the same solution. Insert the cannula into the rectum and press the bulb. Pull out while holding down and discard.
Adults: 1 microenema as needed, for a maximum of 1 or 2 administrations per day.
Components
Functional substance: glycerol.
Warnings
Do not use if you have hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components. In case of persistent constipation, it is important to consult your doctor to exclude other pathologies. The microenema is disposable, therefore it should not be reused if half of it is administered. Keep out of the reach of children. Laxatives should be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days. Use for longer periods of time requires a doctor's prescription after adequate evaluation of the individual case. In cases of constipation, it is recommended first of all to correct eating habits by integrating the daily diet with an adequate intake of fiber and water. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this product. There are no studies available on the use of the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Conservation
Store at room temperature.
