Components
Cardiospermum halicacabum: This medicinal plant has an effect similar to cortisone, but without the drug's side effects. The plant extract of Cardiospermum halicacabum boasts anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties due to an effect similar to that of cortisone, known as a cortisone-like effect. The active ingredients responsible for the cortisone-like effect are phytosterols found in the flowering tops, which have anti-inflammatory, hydrating, sebum-regulating, and antipruritic effects. Most importantly, they stabilize the cell membranes of the skin and mucous membranes, which, in cases of dermatitis, are less reactive.
SK-influx: A lipid concentrate identical to that naturally present in the skin to improve the skin barrier function. This ceramide complex plays a fundamental role in preventing transepidermal water loss, maintaining skin hydration and elasticity, and preventing the entry of irritants and inflammatory substances.
Glycyrrhetic acid: Extracted from the licorice plant, its properties make it used in cosmetics for sensitive and delicate skin. It is effective as a soothing agent in baby products, and for inflamed, reddened skin, atopic and seborrheic dermatitis, and general irritation.
