OcchioBello
Description
Sterile saline solution with physiological pH for ocular and periocular use. OcchioBello is a valuable aid for removing periocular and ocular secretions in newborns from the first days of life, infants, and children (i.e., from 0 to 6 years of age). The product can also be used by children over 6 years of age, adolescents, adults, and the elderly, even with soft contact lenses.
Instilling OcchioBello softens and washes away secretions from the ocular surface, the conjunctival fornix, and the eyelid margin. OcchioBello has a diluting, decongestant, and hydrating effect, increasing tear volume.
How to use
- Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before use.
- Open the protective aluminum bag.
- Detach a single dose from the strip.
- If the product is intended for use on children, if stored at temperatures below 15°C, hold the vial in your hands for a few moments to bring the product to room temperature to avoid the child feeling unpleasantly cold.
- Twist and remove the cap to break the seal.
- Store the cap making sure to place it on a clean surface.
- The contents of one 0.5 ml vial are sufficient to clean both eyes. After use, immediately close the single-dose container with the appropriate cap.
- To close the single-dose container, you must first turn the cap.
- To rinse the eye area instead of conventional moistened or soaked wipes: pour 4-5 drops of solution onto a sterile gauze pad and use it to immediately and gently cleanse the area around the eyes, removing any secretions. Avoid rubbing vigorously, but soften dried secretions with the soaked gauze pad until they can be removed. Use a different gauze pad for each eye.
- To rinse the eye: gently squeeze the body of the single-dose vial and dispense 1-2 drops into each eye; blinking, resulting in increased tear volume, allows the product to wash the surface of the eye, removing foreign particles along with excess fluid.
- To relieve discomfort or redness: instill 1-2 drops in each eye. Between uses, keep unopened vials in the foil pouch until the contents are used up.
- The product is for single use only. Any solution remaining in the vial after instillation or soaking the gauze should be discarded.
- When instilling the product to relieve discomfort or redness in adults, use of the residue within 12 hours of opening the vial is not contraindicated, provided the container is properly closed with the appropriate cap. Avoid contact with other surfaces that could contaminate it and become a vehicle for microbes capable of contaminating the solution once the vial is closed.

Sodium chloride (0.82%), vitamin E TPGS, distilled Echinacea pallida water, distilled eyebright water, zinc sulphate heptahydrate, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate tribasic dihydrate, water for injections.

Do not use the product if the aluminum pouch or packaging is damaged or not closed properly when first opened.
Do not use the product if there are visible particles and/or changes in the color of the solution.

If any side effects occur, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
Do not use the product in case of known incompatibility with even one component of the formulation and/or Asteraceae plants and/or Orobanchaceae plants.
No interactions with medications or other eye drops have been reported; in any case, wait at least 15 minutes before administering any other eye drops.
Dispose of the product in accordance with local waste management regulations.
Keep out of reach of children.
Before opening the vial to administer the drops, it is advisable to thoroughly clean your hands.
