OFTAROS GAUZE
Description
Periocular cleansing gauzes.
100% cotton gauze.
OFTAROS GAUZE is indicated for cleaning and hygiene of the eyelids, eyelashes, and face, removing crusts, rheumatoid arthritis, and cosmetic residue. It is also recommended for necessary peripalpebral hygiene in the presence of allergic, infectious, and inflammatory conditions, and in the aftermath of trauma and surgery.
Its active ingredients include epigallocatechin gallate (antioxidant/analgesic/anti-inflammatory), Melaleuca tea tree oil (antibacterial/antifungal indicated for blepharitis and acne), allantoin (healing for ulcers and abrasions), hyaluronic acid which has a well-known hydrating action and glycyrrhetinic acid (healing, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial).
How to use
With clean hands, open the sachet and remove the gauze. Apply the gauze to the eyelid area, gently rubbing it to ensure proper cleansing, removing ocular secretions, rheumatoid arthritis, and pollutants (smog, dust, cosmetics, etc.). For particularly persistent secretions or blepharitis, it is advisable to warm the closed sachet for a few minutes in warm water (40-50°C) and then use the gauze as a warm compress, massaging gently. For edema, it is advisable to chill the area in the freezer and then apply the opened gauze, keeping it in place as a cold compress.
