How to use
Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the device. The ampoule and accessories are for personal use only to avoid any risk of infection from contagion. This device is suitable for the administration of medicinal and non-medicinal substances, for which administration by aerosol is foreseen, such substances must however be prescribed by the doctor. In the case of substances that are too dense, dilution with a suitable physiological solution may be necessary, according to medical prescription.

During application, it is recommended to adequately protect yourself from any drips.
Insert the power cord into an electrical outlet corresponding to the voltage of the device. When you have finished using the device, remove the plug from the electrical outlet. The plug must be positioned in such a way that it is not difficult to disconnect from the electrical network. Insert the nozzle into the upper part. Insert the speed selector into the upper part. Pour the medicine prescribed by the doctor into the lower part. Close the nebulizer by turning the upper part clockwise. Connect the accessories.
Sit comfortably holding the nebulizer, place the mouthpiece on your mouth or use the nosepiece or mask. If you use the mask accessory, place it on your face with or without the use of the elastic. Turn on the device by pressing the switch and inhale and exhale deeply. It is recommended to hold your breath for a moment after inhaling so that the inhaled aerosol droplets can settle. Then exhale slowly.
Once the application is finished, turn off the device and unplug it. If after the therapeutic session a visible deposit of humidity forms inside the tube, detach the tube from the nebulizer and dry it with the ventilation of the compressor itself; this action avoids possible proliferation of mold inside the tube.

RF7 Dual Speed ​​Nebulizer
Professional, fast, suitable for the administration of all types of drugs, including the most expensive ones, even in patients with chronic diseases. Thanks to the geometry of the internal ducts of the RF7 Dual Speed ​​nebulizer, a granulometry suitable and active for the treatment up to the lower respiratory tract has been obtained.
To speed up inhalation therapy, position the speed selector button by pressing the MAX marking with your finger. To make inhalation therapy more effective, press the MIN marking on the speed selector with your finger. In this position, the speed selector acts as a valve and allows the optimal amount of medication to be nebulized to the lower airways, reducing its dispersion into the environment.
Cleaning, sanitization and disinfection
Switch off the appliance before each cleaning operation and unplug the mains cable from the socket.
• Appliance and exterior of the tube: use only a cloth moistened with a non-abrasive detergent and free from solvents of any kind.
• Accessories: open the nebulizer by turning the top part counterclockwise, detach the nozzle and the speed selector from the top part. Then proceed according to the instructions below.

1. SANITIZATION
Before and after each use, sanitize the ampoule and accessories by choosing one of the following methods:
- method A: sanitize the accessories under hot drinking water (about 40 °C) with a mild dish detergent (non-abrasive);
- method B: sanitize the accessories in the dishwasher with a hot cycle;
- method C: sanitize the accessories by immersing them in a solution of 50% water and 50% white vinegar, then rinse thoroughly with hot drinking water (around 40°C).
After sanitizing the accessories, shake them vigorously and place them on a paper towel, or alternatively dry them with a jet of hot air (for example a hairdryer).

2. DISINFECTION
After sanitizing the ampoule and accessories, disinfect them by choosing one of the following methods:
- method A: obtain an electrolytic chlor-oxidizing disinfectant, specifically for disinfection, available in all pharmacies. Fill a container of a size suitable for containing all the individual components to be disinfected with a solution based on drinking water and disinfectant, respecting the proportions indicated on the disinfectant packaging. Completely immerse each individual component in the solution, taking care to avoid the formation of air bubbles in contact with the components. Leave the components immersed for the period of time indicated on the disinfectant packaging, and associated with the concentration chosen for the preparation of the solution. Recover the disinfected components and rinse them thoroughly with warm drinking water. Dispose of the solution according to the instructions provided by the disinfectant manufacturer;
- method B: disinfect the accessories by boiling in water for 10 minutes; use demineralized or distilled water to avoid limescale deposits;
- method C: Disinfect the accessories with a hot sterilizer for baby bottles of the steam type (not microwave). Carry out the process faithfully following the instructions of the sterilizer. For disinfection to be effective, choose a sterilizer with an operating cycle of at least 6 minutes.
After disinfecting the accessories, shake them vigorously and place them on a paper towel, or alternatively dry them with a jet of hot air (for example, a hair dryer). At the end of each use, store the appliance complete with accessories in a dry place away from dust.

Warnings
This device is also intended for use directly by the patient.
Before first use, and periodically during the life of the product, check the integrity of the structure of the appliance and the power cord to ensure that there is no damage; if it is damaged, do not insert the plug and take the product immediately to an authorized service center or retailer.
If the appliance does not meet the performance requirements, contact the authorised service centre for clarification.
The expected average life of the accessories is 1 year; however, it is advisable to replace the ampoule every 6 months in intensive use (or sooner if the ampoule is obstructed) to always guarantee maximum therapeutic efficacy.
In the presence of children and non-self-sufficient persons, the appliance must be used under the strict supervision of an adult who has read the instruction manual.
Some parts of the appliance are small enough to be swallowed by children; keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
Do not use the pipes and cables supplied for purposes other than their intended use, as they could cause a risk of strangulation. Pay particular attention to children and people with particular difficulties, as these people are often unable to correctly assess the dangers.
It is an apparatus not suitable for use in the presence of a flammable anaesthetic mixture with air, or with oxygen or with nitrous oxide.
Always keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
Keep the power cord away from animals (e.g. rodents), otherwise such animals may damage the insulation of the power cord.
Do not handle the appliance with wet hands. Do not use the appliance in humid environments (for example while bathing or showering). Do not immerse the appliance in water; if this happens, unplug it immediately. Do not remove or touch the appliance immersed in water; unplug it first. Take it immediately to an authorized service center or dealer.
Use the device only in dust-free environments, otherwise the therapy may be compromised.
Do not wash the appliance under running water or by immersion and keep it away from splashes of water or other liquids.
Do not expose the appliance to particularly extreme temperatures.
Do not place the appliance near heat sources, in sunlight or in excessively hot environments.
Do not obstruct or introduce objects into the filter and its relative seat in the appliance.
Never block the ventilation slots located on both sides of the appliance.
Always operate the aerosol on a hard surface free from obstacles.
Check that there is nothing blocking the ventilation slots before each use.
Do not insert any objects into the ventilation slots.
Repairs, including replacing the power cord, should be performed only by authorized personnel, following the information provided by the manufacturer. Unauthorized repairs will void the warranty and may pose a danger to the user.
Do not modify this appliance without the manufacturer's authorization.
The materials used in contact with drugs have been tested with a wide range of drugs. However, given the variety and continuous evolution of drugs, it is not possible to exclude interactions. It is recommended to consume the drug as soon as possible after opening and to avoid prolonged exposure to the ampoule. The materials used in the MD are biocompatible materials and comply with the mandatory regulations of Directive 93/42 CE and subsequent amendments, however it is not possible to completely exclude possible allergic reactions.
The manufacturer must be contacted to communicate problems and/or unexpected events relating to operation and, if necessary, for clarifications relating to use and/or maintenance/cleaning.
The time required to pass from storage to operating conditions is approximately 2 hours.
