Description
Food supplement based on saw palmetto, pumpkin seeds, beta-sitosterols, vitamin E, zinc, lycopene and selenium that supports the normal trophism and physiological function of the prostate gland.
The main component of Prostavir is Serenoa repens (also known as saw palmetto), which has an extensive literature behind it and, more importantly, decades of use. Serenoa repens's primary action is to inhibit the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone, which is responsible for the hyperplasia and hypertrophy of prostate gland cells. This effect occurs through inhibition of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase.
Pumpkin seed extracts, another component of Prostavir, have a synergistic effect with saw palmetto. The dry extract dosage is 150 mg. Another component of Prostavir is beta-sitosterols extracted from maritime pine. These components act directly on the prostate parenchyma and reduce symptoms, both in terms of urinary frequency and urinary volume. These active ingredients are combined with a pool of antioxidants such as vitamin E, lycopene, zinc, and selenium.

How to use
It is recommended to take 2 tablets per day in the attack phase and 1 tablet per day during maintenance.
It may be useful to combine treatment with Vigordem.
Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Pregnant or breastfeeding women and children are advised to consult a doctor.
