VISUPRIME 10 ML

Description
Sterile, isotonic, buffered ophthalmic lubricating solution at physiological pH based on Poloxamer 407, Polyquaternary 133 and disodium EDTA.
Thanks to the presence of poloxamer 407, it creates a protective mechanical-physical barrier that lubricates and stabilizes the tear film, reducing tear evaporation and the risk of microbial contamination.
It is useful in counteracting the symptoms of ocular discomfort associated with inflammatory phenomena, even on an infectious basis, and in pre- and post-surgical intervention.
Finally, the presence of a saline buffer system helps maintain the pH at physiological values, regulating tear osmolarity.

How to use
Instill 1 or 2 drops 2 times a day into the conjunctival sac of each eye or as directed by your doctor.
- Remove the protective cap;
- Instill 1 or 2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye while gently pulling the lower eyelid downwards and looking upwards.
- After use, close the bottle immediately: the solution can be reused within 28 days after first opening.

Components
PQ133 100 mg, poloxamer 407 4,500 mg, disodium EDTA 100 mg, buffered isotonic solution qs to 100 ml.

Warnings
- Do not use the product if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the components.
- Do not use the bottle if it is damaged or not perfectly closed when opened for the first time.
- The use of contact lenses is not foreseen.
- Instill the product at least 10 minutes after using other ophthalmic medications.
- Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
- The expiry date refers to the product in intact packaging and correctly stored.
- The product maintains its sterility for up to 28 days after first opening the bottle.
- Use the product within 28 days of first opening the bottle.
- Wash your hands before applying the product.
- Do not touch your eyes or any other surface with the tip of the bottle.
- Close the bottle tightly after use.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Ophthalmic use only, do not swallow.
- The product is intended for use by a single patient.
- Do not dispose of the bottle in the environment after use.
- Any excess unused product must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
- Use is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women and for individuals under 18 years of age.
- In case of side effects, stop treatment and consult your doctor.

Conservation
Store at 2°C to 8°C.
Validity after opening: 28 days.
