Adjuvant in healing processes.
This is a medical device manufactured in compliance with Directive 93/42/EEC, MDD Class IIB, intended for the treatment of skin ulcers of various origins, with slowed healing, moderate to heavy exudate, whether cleansed or colonized, and whether flat or cavity-shaped. The product is not indicated for use on eschar. Do not use on frank infection. In colonized lesions, it is effective when combined with a secondary antibacterial dressing.
Interactive dressing based on sodium hyaluronate and amino acids designed to promote the formation of granulation tissue and tissue regeneration.
Components
Sodium hyaluronate, Glycine, L-Proline, L-Leucine, L-Lysine HCl.
How to use
It promotes the production of granulation tissue and therefore accelerates the repair process. It aids the reintegration of collagen-forming cells, resulting in connective tissue reconstruction. It promotes the elimination of necrotic tissue and protects the integrity of the skin.
Before applying any dressing, wash your hands thoroughly. Remove any foreign material with saline solution. You can dab the wound with sterile gauze to remove any excess blood.
Wash and cleanse the wound. Sprinkle the powder from a stick pack over the wound bed. Use secondary dressings that absorb exudate and prevent maceration. For particularly extensive wounds, multiple stick packs can be used to cover the affected area. Dressing frequency varies between 2 and 3 times per week.
Warnings
It is contraindicated in cases of known hypersensitivity to the components. Do not release into the environment. It is contraindicated in cases of frank infection. Overdose is not known. There are no known side effects. There are no known interactions with drugs or medicinal substances. Although there are no known side effects, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should only be performed according to a doctor's advice. Vulnamin PWD is a product characterized by good tolerability; however, local reactions due to hypersensitivity may rarely occur, which resolve spontaneously. However, it is recommended to consult a doctor in case of concurrent pharmacological treatments and/or for prolonged use beyond six weeks.
Do not use after the expiration date. Do not sterilize. Single-use stick pack - for single patient use. Do not save any remaining product for separate applications. Discard any remaining product from one application. Do not use if the package is opened or damaged. Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the components. If you experience any adverse reactions, do not repeat the treatment and consult your doctor. Keep out of reach of children.
Conservation
Store between 8°C and 30°C, in a cool, dry place, away from humidity and heat sources.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
